Car Key Programming πŸ”‘

Already have a key or remote that needs programming? We come to you and get it programmed to your car, on the spot.

Already got a key, but it's not working with your car?

If you’ve bought a replacement key online, picked one up from a dealership without programming, or your remote and immobiliser have simply lost sync, SMS53 Locksmith can program it to work with your vehicle on-site. You don’t have to tow or wait for dealership.

What we program

  • We do transponder key programming that is learning the chip to car’s ecu and to a key ignition start car. Key ignition start was used before push button start technology arrived that is most common to Toyota, Ford, Mazda, Hyundai, Kia, Nissan, Honda, Mitsubishi and more.
  • We also program remote central locking as older Toyota, Ford and Nissan models had a seperate remote.
  • For latest models vehicles, we offer proximity and push-button start programming for instance, Hyundai Palisade, Ford Everest, Toyota Corolla Cross, Kia Seltos and more.

NOT SURE THIS IS THE RIGHT SERVICE?

If you already have a key, remote, or fob in hand and it just needs to be programmed or synced to your car, you’re in the right place. If you’ve lost your only key entirely, our Lost Car Key Replacement page is what you need. If your key still works but you want an extra one cut, see our Spare Car Keys page. And if your key or fob is physically damaged, our Broken Car Key Repair page covers that.

When you might need key programming

  1. Bought a used car with a key that never worked,
  2. Purchasing a key or remote separately online.
  3. Noticing the remote has suddenly stopped locking or unlocking the car due to a battery disconnect or electrical work.
  4. Key programming can also be needed after an ignition barrel switch has been changed, or when the ECU or BCM has been replaced.
